NOMAD GEOMETRY
En 2025, j’ai envie de redonner vie à ma série Géométrie Nomade, en lui insufflant de nouvelles impulsions créatives : des compositions coloristiques inédites, des techniques différentes et de nouvelles approches. J’ai également le désir de dépasser les comparaisons récurrentes avec Rothko, afin d’ouvrir un chemin plus personnel. Cette démarche me permet d’explorer une autre manière de peindre et de nourrir de nouveaux désirs artistiques, capables d’apporter un souffle renouvelé à cette série que j’ai commencée en 2012-2013.
La série Géométrie Nomade a connu plusieurs évolutions. Elle a d’abord débuté par de simples compositions géométriques, juxtaposant des carrés et des jeux de lignes dans des harmonies plutôt monochromes. Peu à peu, j’ai ressenti le besoin d’alléger cette accumulation géométrique, pour me tourner vers des surfaces plus épurées : de grands espaces monochromes, de vastes zones de couleurs superposées les unes sur les autres, invitant à la méditation.
Aujourd’hui, j’ai envie d’explorer cette série de manière plus dynamique, en mettant en avant les jeux de lignes et les accumulations de traits spontanés. Mais cette fois-ci, je souhaite que les toiles dégagent davantage d’énergie et de vibrations, afin d’insuffler une vitalité nouvelle.
In 2025, I want to breathe new life into my Nomadic Geometry series by infusing it with fresh creative impulses: new color compositions, different techniques, and alternative approaches. I also wish to move beyond the recurrent comparisons with Rothko, in order to open up a more personal path. This process allows me to explore another way of painting and to nurture new artistic desires, capable of bringing a renewed energy to this series I first began
in 2012–2013.
The Nomadic Geometry series has gone through several evolutions. It initially started with simple geometric compositions, juxtaposing squares and lines in mostly monochromatic harmonies. Gradually, I felt the need to lighten this geometric accumulation and turn toward more refined surfaces: vast monochrome spaces, large areas of color layered upon one another, inviting contemplation.
Today, I want to explore this series in a more dynamic way, emphasizing the play of lines and the accumulation of spontaneous strokes. But this time, I want the canvases to radiate more energy and vibrations, in order to instill a new vitality.
Im Jahr 2025 möchte ich meiner Serie Nomadic Geometry neues Leben einhauchen, indem ich sie mit frischen kreativen Impulsen bereichere: neuen Farbkombinationen, unterschiedlichen Techniken und alternativen Herangehensweisen. Außerdem möchte ich über die wiederkehrenden Vergleiche mit Rothko hinausgehen, um einen persönlicheren Weg zu eröffnen. Dieser Prozess erlaubt es mir, eine andere Art des Malens zu erkunden und neue künstlerische Sehnsüchte zu nähren, die dieser Serie, die ich erstmals 2012–2013 begann, neue Energie verleihen können.
Die Serie Nomadic Geometry hat mehrere Entwicklungsstufen durchlaufen. Sie begann ursprünglich mit einfachen geometrischen Kompositionen, bei denen Quadrate und Linien in überwiegend monochromen Harmonien nebeneinandergestellt wurden. Nach und nach verspürte ich das Bedürfnis, diese geometrische Anhäufung zu entschlacken und mich feineren Oberflächen zuzuwenden: weite monochrome Flächen, große Farbfelder, die übereinander geschichtet sind und zur Kontemplation einladen.
Heute möchte ich diese Serie auf eine dynamischere Weise erkunden, das Spiel von Linien und die Anhäufung spontaner Pinselstriche betonen. Diesmal sollen die Leinwände jedoch mehr Energie und Schwingungen ausstrahlen, um eine neue Vitalität zu vermitteln.
